PreK has been learning about our Flag and The Pledge of Allegiance - today we made flags to hang on our artwork spots! They turned out great!

This is campaign week for Maple Student Council. We have some up and coming leaders to encourage and serve our student body.

The Maple movie theater route will be leaving for the school at 7:25 am. please have your children on the bus by 7:25. they will arrive in the afternoon at 3:45 pm. If a parent is not there by 4:00 your child will be brought back to the school.

Maple Families: We are so excited to see all of your students in 2 weeks! We hope you have all had a great summer, and are excited for the new school year to begin on Thursday, August 10th. We will once again be providing school supplies for all grades this year. We know that these supplies can get expensive for families and are excited to be able to provide this service for our families. Families will only need to supply gym shoes and a backpack for students this year.


For any Maple 7th and 8th graders that are playing football with El Reno JH,, the following dates will be of importance.
First of all, our locker rooms and practice facility are at the old YMCA building 2200 Babcock Drive, El Reno.
August 3 - equipment checkout 4:00-6:00
August 3 - parent meeting 6:00
August 4 - equipment checkout 08:00-10:00o
August 7 - practice 07:00-09:00
August 8 - practice 07:00-09:00
August 9 - practice 07:00-09:00
August 10 y 11 - teacher in service begins. Practice times TBA
August 12 - pictures 09:30 memorial stadium
August 14, 15, 16 practice times TBA
August 17 - school begins
August 17 - practice 3:00-5:00
August 18 - scrimmage vs Elk City time TBA
Once the season begins, our practice schedule is as follows
Monday - pregame walk thru practice 3:00-4:00
Tuesday - game day
Wednesday - practice 3:00-5:00
Thursday - practice 3:00-5:00
Friday - Varsity game day. Fridays practice will be announced at the end of Thursday’s practice.

Any Maple 7th and 8th graders interested in volleyball with El Reno JH, practice will start Wednesday July 26. They will practice every weekday from 10-12. Practice will be held at Jenks annex, and you will need court shoes and knee pads.

UPDATED: Maple will be having it's annual P.I.E. night on Tuesday Aug. 8th. We will serve dessert at 6:00PM in the cafeteria and then meet at 6:30PM in the gym. This is the perfect opportunity to meet your new teacher, and bring any supplies. Hope to see you there.

First Grade had a blast during our Maple Fun Day!



4th and 5th grade visited the Oklahoma History Center! Great trip!


The 5th grade students created habitat boxes and did a fantastic job on them! Thank you, parents, for your help with this project. I loved hearing their presentations on their boxes.
